Matthew Vincent Consulting Ltd was founded in March 2006, specialising in fuels, additives and exhaust emission technology, following which the client list has grown steadily. A further contract with a major international fuel additives company has been signed to continue a relationship which began in 2006.
In March 2010, the company became one of two Certification Bodies officially approved by Transport for London to carry out certification and audit work in support of the January 2012 upgrades to the London Low Emissions Zone. Execution of this work has formed a major part of the company’s activities in the last 12 months.
Other work has involved significant activity outside the UK, in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and the USA. Presentations at conferences and workshops, and participation in technical discussions illustrate the scope of consulting activity. Topics have ranged from fuel additive technical support to aspects linked to diesel engine exhaust emissions control. A more recent contract covers technical writing for an international fuel additives organisation, while other activity has involved assisting with a patent defence at the European Patent Office in Munich. The company is able to assist with various consulting activities consistent with its knowledge base and charges reasonable rates.
